Swedish Massage

This treatment is perhaps the best known massage therapy in this country. Swedish Massage uses long, flowing strokes to massage. The techniques consist of gliding techniques (effleurage,) kneading (petrissage,) rhythmic tapping (tapotement,) cross fiber (friction) and vibration/shaking.
