Frequently Asked Questions

You can always pop us an email or give us a ring with any questions you may have, but we have listed a few regulars here for you to have a look at.

How long will my massage last?

This is up to you. Our therapists offer a bespoke service, with the massages tailor-made for your office. Massages can last between 8 - 30 minutes per person. Our most popular treatments are between 10 - 15 minutes each. Let us know whether your main aim is to de-stress or re-juvinate and how long you want the massage to last (or how many people you need massaging within a certain time frame and we will do the maths!). For a full breakdown of the experience from your p.o.v have a read of our What Exactly is Office Massage testimonial.

What do we need to do?

Our therapists can massage people at their desks if this is what you would prefer. However, many offices find that optimum results are achieved whena meeting room, or separate area is designated for the massages so that people can move away from their desks and fully enjoy the treatment.

Our massages are designed to work perfectly on normal chairs or stools. We try to avoid chairs with wheels as we don't want people sliding off as we massage them! Also, chairs with lower back rests are preferred as it means that we can provide massage to the upper back area, which is always nice!

If our therapists are working at your event/conference/exhibition please provide suitable chairs (see above). Or let us know if you would like us to provide ergonomic chairs.

We ask that our therapists have access to drinking water and toilets.

Do you use oils?

The LotusTouch treatment has been specially designed to work effectively without oils to protect clothes, hair and make-up.

Do we need to undress?

No. The massage is designed to work over clothes. You may be asked to remove thick jackets or large items of jewellery.

Are there any medical conditions that would prevent a person receiving a treatment?

Your therapist will discretely ask you if you have any contraindications and discuss whether it is suitable for you to receive treatment.

If you have any of the following medical conditions, it is always advisable to check with your doctor whether it is suitable for you to receive any type of massage:

Epilepsy, Fever, Diabetes, History of Thrombosis, Pregnancy, Heart Problems, Skin Disorders or Infections, Haemophilia, Swelling, Cuts, Burns, Recent Fractures, Recent Operations, Recent Scar Tissue, Cancer, Undiagnosed Pain or Lumps, Viral Infection

Treatment is not advisable for anyone who has been consuming large quantities of alcohol.

After care advice

Massage is a great detox opportunity as it releases stored toxins into the blood stream. Please drink plenty of water so that you can get rid of these baddies forever! Avoiding alcohol, smoking and excessive tea or coffee drinking is also recommended as these can have a dehydrating effect.

Do we need to give the therapists breaks?

Our therapists will give their all to treasuring each person that they massage. We factor breaks into our booking times so they will be on the booking form.

When do we pay?

Once we have completed the job, we will invoice you. We request that we are paid within 30 days of invoicing.

If we book regularly then do we receive a discount?

You sure do.  Weekly, fortnightly and monthly bookings are all subject to a 10% reduction in our normal prices with all 6 month contracts and a 15% reduction with all 12 month contracts. Just make this clear when you make your booking with us.
